Pencil Pushers Geometrically Unite!

We find that when it comes to organization, there’s no such thing as too much. And the opportunity to make something DIY-tastic while expanding our organizational repertoire is relished with glee. Like this little ditty! Never did making a pencil pouch (or makeup brush holder, lipstick keeper, nail stuff pocket, etc) be so much fun while costing so little. So Lets Do The DIY Thang, shall we? Grab yourself some basic muslin, alittle fusible interfacing to make it sturdy, a ruler (or any stencil….if you awesome and you know, freehand even!) ,a pencil and some of the coolest fabric pens I’ve ever seen. Cut your fabric to the desired size of your pouch, and use the pencil and  ruler/stencil/awesome-drawing-skills to create your pattern. Then use the pens to bring that sketched artistry to life! Careful with your pens close to your design edges as they can bleed sometimes a tiny bit. Once your canvas is dry, you can use this lovely step-by-step tutorial on sewing it all together and TAAAAA-DAAAA! A super cool, totally DIY’d piece of organizational gold, courtesy of you and your two talented hands. If that aint the best part of all, then I dunno what is.
