OREOS. Since 1912, they’ve been in the hearts, minds and mouths of generations. If there was anything more blissfully perfect in a cookie, we havent found it….yet. Whether your a chocoholic and love that crunchy cookieness or have an uncontrollable fondness for all-things-frosting (guilty as charged) this DIY-licious recipe is for YOU. So hold on to your tummies and Lets Do The DIY Thang – FOOD EDITION! For this ‘little ball wonder’ you’ll need 1 package of 8 oz. cream cheese, softened – 1 package of Oreos, finely crushed and divided – 2 packages of semi-sweet chocolate, melted – wax paper & cookie sheets. (For tips on how to melt the chocolate without burning, revisit this delicious post) Mix the cream cheese and 3 cups of oreo crumbs until well blended. Then shape 48 balls into 1 inch sizes and dip into the melted chocolate, placing on to the waxed paper-covered cookie sheet. Sprinkle generously with the remaining oreo crumbs. Refrigerate for an hour before serving. Once the longest hour of your life is complete, go enjoy your deliciously nostalgic snack over a glass of milk and dont forget; Sharing IS Caring!
